Local Galaxy Classification Database

Written in Microsoft Access

Responsibilities

Local Galaxy Classification Database was written by me as a College Project when I was a student in 2010. It was entirely unique, bespoke and handwritten and was partially a hobbyist solution and a demonstration of my skills. It was written using SQL, VBA and Microsoft Access and I was awarded with a distinction.

About Local Galaxy Classification Database

Local Galaxy Classification Database (LGCDB) was a project I wrote in Microsoft Access that used VBA and SQL. This piece of software enabled users to store different types of stellar objects to classify them and produce analytical charts based on luminosity and other factors.
